FOOTWEAR OPTIONAL!
Sit back with a Singapore Sling and chill out on the beach at the Bora Bora Beach Club
Sitting on the sand at Sentosa’s Palawan Beach, the Bora Bora Beach Club is fast becoming a favourite for tourists and Singaporeans alike. There isn’t a more idyllic spot to sit back and enjoy a lazy afternoon than at the Bora Bora Beach Club. Perched on the sand, this is a place where a pair of shorts are compulsory and footwear is optional!
For some strange reason, Singapore isn’t known for its beautiful beaches – strange, because from the Bora Bora Beach Club the beaches of Sentosa look like a scene out of Paradise Island. The bar sits at the top of the Palawan beach, surrounded by fine white sand. To get there, you can either take a taxi all the way to the front door, or take the monorail from one of many tourist attractions on the island.
Once you’re there, the attraction is obvious. The food menu is excellent and the bar packs all the drinks you’d expect at a beachside location, including frozen margaritas, daiquiris and coladas in five flavours – banana, strawberry, mango, peach and lime. And did we mention Bora Bora’s Singapore Sling? Well we should have, because it’s rumoured to be the best in Singapore!
