 Harbourfront

Near the entrance to Sentosa, the Harbour Front area is dominated by the HarbourFront Centre, the VivoCity shopping centre and the St James Power Station.

St James Power Station

Of these, the St James Power Station is Singapore's latest nightlife attraction. As the name suggests, this old power station has now been transformed into a massive entertainment complex. Covering over 70,000 square feet, there are nine outlets here.

Among our favourites are Dragonfly (live Mandarin pop shows), Movida (Live Afro-Cuban, salsa and world music), Mono (Karaoke bar and individual rooms), and the
Bellini Room (Live Big Band, Jazz and Swing music). Also here you can find Tiger Live, an interactive daytime attraction that teaches visitors about Singapore’s famous Tiger Beer.

Getting there: Harbour Front MRT, exit C. Tel: (65) 6270 7676

Tiger Live
For all those that love a good beer, Tiger Live is where you can learn all about Singapore’s famous brew – Tiger Beer. Tiger Live is the only daytime highlight at St James Power Station.

Inside you'll find out all you need to know about Tiger Beer via multi-video screens, an interactive 4D animation stage and many other exhibits showcasing Tiger's long history.

And true to Singapore’s reputation as a shopper’s paradise, visitors can shop till they drop at the TigerLIVE retail shop. Choose from over 200 limited edition collectables, funky Tiger tees, and the coolest Tiger souvenirs that will be loved by one and all back home.

Housed in Singapore’s historic St James Power Station, an iconic coal-fired power station built in 1927, TigerLIVE occupies over 14,000 square feet within this breath-taking conservation building that is now the largest entertainment complex in Singapore.
