| Getting to the city |
The Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, is located 20 km from Jakarta and the trip into the city will take you about 30 minutes during non-peak hour times. During peak hours, 7am-9am and 4pm-7pm, it is usually needs more time. We recommend that you take a taxi (either Blue Bird or Silver Bird are the best ones), but buses are also available.

The DAMRI Shuttle bus does hourly trips into the city stopping at six different areas around the city.

Taxi
We recommend that the easiest and safest way to get into the city from the airport is by Taxi. To do this, take either the Blue Bird or Silver Bird taxi which you can book from the counter at the arrival gate after customs. You’ll also have to pay the tolls to and from the airport for the driver.
