| Pak Khlong Talat |
This huge wholesale market has everything from spices and vegetables to flowers and fruit. The best time to visit is in the evening when the whole place is a huge busy mess of produce and people. In fact between the hours of 2am-4am is the busiest time of the day as this is when trucks arrive with the next day’s produce.

Not the most awe-inspiring shopping centre in Bangkok, it is nonetheless a good place to go for a mix of cheap clothing and traditional Thai goods. Situated in the Ratchadamnoen area as well, it is one of the few shopping centres in the historical part of town.
